Pediatric House Calls for Kids

Why Pediatric Home  Visits?

  • Convenience & Comfort
We get it — sometimes it’s just not easy to haul the kids into a clinic. Our home visit service brings pediatric care straight to your doorstep, so your child can be seen in the familiar environment of their own home.
  • Safety & Peace of Mind
For infants, immunocompromised children, or whenever exposure is a concern, home visits reduce risk and still deliver quality care.

Personalized, Unrushed Care
At home, our team can take more time to listen, observe, and evaluate without the pressure of back-to-back clinic slots.

What We’ll Provide During a Home Visit

When our home visit service opens, you can expect us to offer many of the same services you’d get in clinic, adapted for home settings:

  • Well-child checkups (growth, development, immunization review)
  • Sick visits (fevers, coughs, rashes, minor injuries)
  • Routine monitoring (e.g. chronic condition checkups)
  • Parental education/support (feeding, sleep, behavior)
  • Referrals or coordination of care as needed

We’ll bring portable tools, supplies, and diagnostic equipment suited for in-home use.

The Home Visit Process, What to Expect

  1. Request & Scheduling
    • Submit a home visit request through our contact form or by phone.
    • We’ll confirm eligibility, schedule a time window, and prep you for what to expect.
  2. Before the Visit
    • Ensure a quiet, well-lit space for examination.
    • Have any relevant medical records, medications, or equipment ready.
  3. During the Visit
    • Our pediatrician or nurse will perform the exam, ask history questions, assess concerns.
    • We’ll discuss next steps, prescriptions, and when a clinic visit or specialist may still be needed.
  4. Follow-Up
    • You’ll get a summary (visit notes, care plan) sent to you and integrated into our patient records.

At Kingsland Pediatrics, we’ll schedule follow-ups as needed.
