Dr. Syed H Haider - MD, FAAP

Dr. Syed H Haider,

MD, FAAP

Dr. Haider is a highly qualified and experienced pediatrician, committed to providing the best possible medical care to families in Katy. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his Pediatric residency and fellowship training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

As a Board Certified Pediatrician and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine specialist, Dr. Haider co-founded Kingsland Pediatrics with a focus on educating families and promoting healthy child development. His mission is to adhere to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for pediatric care, while practicing evidence-based medicine in a relaxed, no-rush environment.

My professional career spans over 12 years. I have substantial experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. I have dealt with a variety of issues using both short term and long term therapies.

 

Short term therapies work best in maladaptive behaviors and acute conditions of anxiety and depression. For long term therapies, I use eclectic therapy catering to the specific need of the client.

 

I believe that an eclectic therapy plan is most effective in the healing process and facilitates long lasting positive thought process. The ultimate goal is to empower the client in their journey by restoring self compassion and self confidence.
